Shetland Sheepdog

Yes! Finally william agreed for me to get a dog. Although he is still weary of big dogs so golden retriever is out of question, I can buy a shetland sheepdog (second choice in mind). Here is a pic of the breed.

We saw a 5 month old sheltie at the pasir ris farmway and was so tempted to get him right away. However, decided that we should wait till Nov after our jobs have stabled down. This breed is not very popular in Sg, I hope that they would have available pups by then. Already tot of a name for it .. Foxy. Hope that I can get one real soon.

Eyeliner

I have tried 3 eyeliners over the past few months. First was Chanel's liquid eyeliner, which I find it very hard to draw and difficult to control the flow of liquid to the tip. After a while it went empty, not sure whether it was supposed to dry up so quickly or I did not use it as frequently. The downside is that it doesnt dry easily after application, and tends to smudge onto my hidden eyelids.

The next eyeliner I bought was Bobbi Brown's highly recommended gel eyeliner. Hmm it was not so bad but the line turned out to be rather thick. Good if you like to draw thick lines.

The most recent eyeliner, which is also my favorite is Maybelline's hyper sharp eyeliner. It is less costly as compared to the rest. It allows me to draw a super fine line and it dries up easily after application, so it doesnt smudge my hidden eyelids. Thumbs up.

After one and a half year abroad and starting my new job @ NTU, I have decided to create a new blog to update the coming events of my life (Hoping I can sustain this blog). The blog will showcase the items I'm using (cosmetics, electronic gadgets, hair products, etc) or things I plan to buy, so as to get comments from my dearest friends who may be reading this blog.

Drawing ideas from a couple of my friends' recent interests to buy the new samsung galaxy s3, I shall start giving my review on the new gadget. Comparing with my last used phone Apple i4, s3 is lighter in weight, slimmer and has a wider screen. It has some cool functions, such as multitasking - watching video while texting; put the phone to your ears while texting someone to call the person; fun camera functions (best shot photos), and not to forget its is a 8 megapixal cam; it allows u to create your favorite contacts on a page as a shortcut key to call/msg/whatsapp them. The downside is that charging takes around 1-2 hours for the phone to be fully charged. However, the phone's battery is quite lasting, I charge only once at the end of day, considering myself as a heavier user. An additional feature of this phone is the LED indicator. Whenever there is a missed call, msg, there will be a led indicator flashing to indicate that you have a msg, etc. In addition, when u pick up your phone from the table, the phone vibrates to inform you that you have missed calls or messages that have not been read. S3 is on the ice-cream sandwich platform, so it has its own task manager, one of the best tools to delete all your multitasking or running apps with just one button to save on your battery consumption. It allows you to sync your google and facebook contacts into the directory with their facebook photos, so no need for retyping of contacts into your phone manually. The gallery automatically uploads all your facebook photos so that you can easily browse them from your phone.

Useful andriod apps: andriod store has a couple of free and useful apps.
1) Light flow - allows you to customise the led lights (e.g. red light for missed calls, green light for messages).
2) Dolphin browser/chrome beta - allows web surfing that customises page viewing to fit the screen size. Also allows voice search, instead of typing the words which u would like to google for. Quite a cool browser.
3) Whatsapp Plus - cute animations and icons that can be used for whatsapp, line, messenging etc. They dun have this in apple's app store. :)
4) Maps - google maps that is pre-installed in s3. Shows you driving directions, some say beta than apple maps. So far so good.
5) Gnotes - stores all the notes which I have backed up from my iphone previously and reloads all the infor into gnotes in S3. No need to retype, which is really cool.

There are several more functions and apps available. However, I have selected those which I find them more useful and practical.
